Peter Aniekwe Empowerment Foundation Boosts Educational Zeal and Opportunity for Secondary School Students
In a significant step toward promoting academic excellence and easing educational burdens, the Peter Aniekwe Empowerment Foundation has launched the first phase of its educational support program for secondary school students across Anambra East and West.
The event, held on February 28, 2025, marked a major milestone in the Foundation’s mission to uplift young minds and strengthen their drive for academic success. The initiative focused on enhancing students’ zeal, interest, and access to educational opportunities.
A major highlight of the event was the full payment of the West African Examination Council (WAEC) registration fees for over 50 students in public secondary schools across Anambra East and West. This vital support is aimed at reducing the financial stress on families while encouraging students to pursue their education with renewed determination.
Speaking at the event, Prof. Nkiru Sam Emmanuel, Deputy Chairman of Post Primary Schools in Awka, commended the Foundation’s impactful gesture. She emphasized how the initiative not only promotes access to quality education but also contributes to digital advancement, referencing the Foundation’s past provision of laptops to schools.
This support program is part of the Foundation’s broader goal to nurture a generation of young people with strong educational ambition, increased interest in academic achievement, and better opportunities to succeed in life.
The Peter Aniekwe Empowerment Foundation remains committed to fostering growth, empowerment, and meaningful development across communities—one student at a time.
More educational and empowerment programs are on the way.
Together, we are building a future of possibilities.
